33 ptic predominantly angus heifers 16 - 18 months, presenting in healthy forward store condition averaging 345kg after a lengthy overnight dry curfew. Heifers were joined over a short 50 day period to (lbwt) stud angus bulls. - one heifer pre tested out side this 50 day window obviously in calf when purchased in march this year. Two heifers observed with old blight scar in one eye only and one with a small retracting infection in one eye (clearing up). One heifer treated for small grass seed abscess under jaw at assessment by vet not at all detrimental.
