2023 Bavarian Music Festival & Beerfest – Tenterfield

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to join us in celebrating our 11th Biennial Bavarian Music Festival and Beerfest – featuring the ‘Original Bavarian Brass Band’ – 31 wonderful musicians from the Unter Allgau region of Bavaria Germany.

Wednesday 15th March
Garden Concert at Glenrock Gardens, 10.30am (NSW time) Tickets $50.00 Includes lunch and entertainment with the Bavarian Brass Band. Drinks available to purchase at the bar. Bookings essential.
Thursday 16th March
Civic Welcome and band performance, Bruxner Park, 10.00am (NSW time). FREE event, no bookings required.
Friday 17th March
Multicultural Music Concert, Memorial Hall, 7.00pm (NSW time) Tickets $25.00 Bavarian Brass Band, pipe band, folk band & local musicians. Food & drink available to purchase.
Saturday 18th March
Music & Markets, Bruxner Park, 9.00am (NSW time) Market stalls in the park and the band will play a short concert. FREE event, no bookings required.
BAVARIAN BEERFEST, Memorial Hall, 5pm to midnight (NSW time) Tickets $70.00
A celebration of traditional German beer, food and music. Tickets include entry, entertainment and an empty stein on arrival.
Bookings essential as tickets are limited. Bar & food available. EFTPOS available. NO BYO!
Sunday 19th March
Breakfast at Arrajay Downs, 8.00am (NSW time). Tickets $30.00
Enjoy home grown free range pork, bacon and eggs, tea and coffee. Top it off with a farm tour where you can meet new piglets, lambs and prize chickens, and hear the story of this great family farm. Entertainment provided. Bavarian Brass Band will not be performing at this event.

Drake Farmers Market
Held on the last Saturday of every month

Gravel N Granite
4th March 2023 – Gravel n Granite 2023 is the inaugural gravel bike race for gravel and mountain bikes held in Tenterfield at the beginning of Autumn. Starting and finishing from our iconic showgrounds, this ride will take participants through a variety of road surfaces including bitumen, dirt, and gravel, offering awe inspiring scenery with some great elevation.

The Barn, Nursery and Gardens are all open from 10am – 5pm, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
This venue is the perfect setting for any event, be it a garden wedding, a workshop or even a garden tour. The gardens are exquisite, a photographer’s paradise, and include many differing garden rooms and water views within the 10 acre garden. There is ample parking space and buses can all be accommodated as well.

Oracles of the Bush 2023
30th March – 2nd April 2023
Oracles of the Bush is an annual event celebrating Australian bush poetry, music and art. This event boasts among the highest prize money for any bush poetry competition in the country. It includes a variety of events such as a Children’s Concert, Poets’ Concert featuring professional poets, poetry competition heats and final, Patti’s Bling dance, breakfasts, lunches and the Poets’ Brawl breakfast in Jubilee Park.

Eat Street Tenterfield 2023
3rd February 2023 – 5pm till 9pm
Eat Street will be held 4 months in a row from February all the way through to May including the Easter Weekend and Gravel & Granite Weekend. – March 3!
Tim Stokes music will be playing live, there will be an open bar serving great local brews and wines from Glen Gowrie Distillery, Deepwater Brewing, 2 Wild Souls, Balancing Heart Vineyard and plenty of food including The Ugly Dumpling Van, Skewers, Indian, Smoked Meats and platters from The Mad Platter & Co.
